What happened to Bert?
Bert ended up with a second rate website.
His web design company locked him in to an expensive hosting contract that cost him £120 a year which would cost him another £120 if he wanted to cancel it. A bit like his business telephone line.
It then cost him several hundred pounds to set up a facility to be able to accept card payments, not to mention the monthly fee.
He's given up on his results page even though he knows it helps him with his sales. The web company wanted an arm and a leg to update it for him.
Because he cannot afford a membership area and if he could he wouldn't be able to update it, he emails his members the day’s selections. He might as well send out a reminder asking them if they want to cancel before their free trial period runs out.
Bert wishes there was a better way. Will you tell him or should we.
